The 2nd race of the Portuguese North Regionals took place at the Bodiosa track in Viseu. The day was sunny and warm, with a dusty and bumpy track.
I started the day with a few set-up issues and a bad first qualifying round, but managed to take 2nd in the second round. During the third I made a few mistakes but ended up getting my place in the semi as intended.
For the semi, I changed tires and the car was sliding a bit too much but I still got to bump-up to the A-main, making it to 7th place on the grid.
The A-main started really badly, with a few bumps making me drop to last place in the first lap. I had to push hard at the beginning and managed to get into the lead and open a gap of almost half a lap ahead of 2nd place.
In the last 5 minutes of the 45min final I made a few mistakes, mainly due to lack of experience, and lost the lead by a few seconds. The car was amazing all day long.
